11:45 – 12:45 Income Tax Sue Talmey CPA, CMA, Director of Finance and Administration Durham Family Resources will explain disability tax benefits, why ODSP recipients ought to file tax returns, child tax benefits and other helpful tips for this tax season and those yet to come
1:30 – 3:00 Registered Disability Savings Plan (RDSP) Peter Killam, Financial Security Advisor and Investment Representative will teach the basics including opening an RDSP with only government contributions, when to get started, when to stop paying into it and when to start withdrawals
